🤔 Muslim patrols in NYC… I will note that there's a history of Religious or Ethnic-based community patrols... Jews have them in NYC around the Orthodox neighborhoods, Asians have it in theirs, etc. I'd note that by far, Jews have been the target of the most religious-based attacks BY FAR - and those patrols started as a defense measure back in the 70's/80's. The relatively new Muslim patrol has a pretty nasty history in England - so I can understand the anxiety these things might bring about. |
